Specification
1” 150LB F304 Floating Ball Valve(Raised Face Flange, Handle Operated)
I. Product Overview
Newway 1” 150LB floating ball valve is a compact, high – performance flow control solution engineered for general industrial and commercial pipelines. Constructed from F304 stainless steel with a raised-face flange connection and manual handle operation, it delivers reliable on-off control for clean media like water, oil, and gas. Designed to meet ASME B16.34 and API 598 standards, it balances corrosion resistance, tight sealing, and ease of use—ideal for light – duty process systems, plumbing networks, and utility applications where simplicity and durability are key.

III. Feature Description
Floating Ball Mechanism: The ball “floats” freely, relying on media pressure to press against the PTFE seat, forming a self – tightening seal. This design compensates for minor pipeline misalignments and pressure fluctuations, ensuring consistent sealing in systems like water supply networks or light oil transfer lines.
F304 Stainless Steel Durability: F304’s chromium – nickel alloy resists rust and corrosion in clean, non – acidic media. In potable water systems or compressed air lines, it maintains structural integrity over years of use, outlasting carbon – steel valves in humid or outdoor environments.
PTFE Seat Performance: PTFE’s low friction ensures smooth handle operation, while its chemical inertness prevents degradation from water, oils, or mild gases. The seat’s resilience under pressure avoids “cold flow” (permanent deformation), maintaining a tight seal even after thousands of cycles.
Raised-Face Flange Compatibility: The flange design aligns with ASME B16.5, allowing seamless connection to standard pipelines using gaskets (e.g., spiral – wound, graphite). This simplifies installation in existing systems, from industrial process lines to commercial plumbing.

IV. Manufacturing Processes
Precision Forging/Casting: F304 stainless – steel billets are forged (or cast for larger batches) to shape the valve body and ball. Forging enhances structural density, reducing internal defects like porosity-critical for pressure – rated applications.
CNC Machining: The body, ball, and flange faces undergo CNC machining to achieve tight tolerances (±0.05mm). The ball’s sealing surface is ground to Ra ≤0.8μm, ensuring uniform contact with the PTFE seat.
Seat Assembly: PTFE seats are compression – molded to fit the valve body, then bonded or press – fitted to prevent displacement. Automated assembly ensures consistent seat compression for reliable sealing.
Testing: Each valve passes:
Hydrostatic Test: 1.5×150LB (3.0MPa) for 30 minutes to verify body integrity.
Seat Leak Test: 1.1×150LB (2.2MPa) with air/water to confirm zero leakage.
