Common faults of pneumatic valves:

Packing leakage
Cause: Bent valve stem
Solution: Straighten the valve stem

Cause: The finish of the valve stem is not smooth enough.
Solution: Polish the valve stem.

Cause: Deformation or damage of the packing gland
Solution: Repair or replace

Cause: Improper selection of packing type or size
Solution: Re-select and replace the packing

Cause: The packing is corroded or deformed.
Solution: Select packing with appropriate performance again.

Cause: Improper packing layer accumulation or incorrect filling method
Solution: Install packing rings and refill.

2. The pneumatic valve operates slowly when in use.

Reason: The torque of the pneumatic actuator is too small.
Solution: Increase the size of the actuator.

Cause: Large variations in cylinder friction
Solution: Apply appropriate lubrication

Cause: Insufficient air source pressure.
Solution: Increase the air source pressure. A gas storage tank can be set up along the way to reduce the fluctuation of working pressure.

Cause: The valve is under excessive load, and the valve core or other valve components are too tight and unreasonable.
Solution: Re-calibrate and adjust the valve torque.

3. The pneumatic valve is not working properly.

Cause: The solenoid valve is normal, but the coil is burned out and the valve core is stuck by dirt.
Solution: Replace the solenoid valve, replace the coil, and clean the dirt.

Cause: Pipe distortion, flattening
Solution: Correct or replace the pipe

Cause: The handle of the manual operating system execution management mechanism is in the manual position.
Solution: Move the handle to the pneumatic automatic position.

Cause: The ball valve inside the core is stuck due to impurities.
Solution: Remove the impurities and replace the damaged valve parts.

Cause: The temperature of the medium or environment is too low, causing the pipeline to freeze.
Solution: Add water to the clarification solution or condensate water to the dust removal equipment.

Reason: To inspect the single gas supply system of the actuator to determine if it can operate normally, such as whether there is gas leakage from the cylinder piston, the cylinder body and end cover or the rotating shaft, etc. Disassemble the actuator to check if the sealing parts are damaged and if the inner surface of the cylinder is damaged.
Solution: Replace the damaged sealing rings, replace the cylinder or piston.

4. Other faults

Cause: The valve started to jump as soon as it began to actuate, due to excessive load.
Solution: Increase the size of the actuator.

Cause: At the end of the valve's operation, it bounces, moves too fast, and has excessive inertial energy.
Solution: Add a speed control valve or an external data buffer.

Cause: Wear of internal valve components
Method: Rectify the mating surfaces
