Double-Eccentric Wafer-Type Butterfly Valve

Structural Characteristics:

The double-eccentric wafer-type butterfly valve features a double-eccentric design, where the centerline of the stem and the seat does not align with the centerline of the disc. This eccentric design reduces friction between the disc and the seat, enhancing the valve’s service life and sealing performance. Additionally, the wafer-type connection allows the valve to be clamped directly into the pipeline, eliminating the need for additional flange connections, resulting in simplified installation.

Body Material:

Common materials include cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, and others. Suitable valve body materials can be selected based on different working conditions.

Rated Pressure and Diameter:

The rated pressure range of the double-eccentric wafer-type butterfly valve is typically between several tens of megapascals to several hundred megapascals, with rated diameters ranging from several millimeters to several meters.

Seat Material:

The seat of the double-eccentric wafer-type butterfly valve typically utilizes wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials such as Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) to ensure excellent sealing performance.
