I. Product Overview

Newway electric stainless steel three-way flange and thread V-style ball valves are sophisticated flow-control solutions designed to meet the complex requirements of modern industrial processes. These valves integrate the corrosion – resistant properties of stainless steel, the convenience of electric actuation, and unique design features for precise and versatile flow management. Whether it’s redirecting media in complex pipeline networks or controlling flow rates with high precision, Newway valves are engineered to deliver reliable performance across a wide range of industries.

II. Key Attribute Specifications

A. Material Composition

Valve Body: Constructed from high-quality stainless steel, commonly grades 304 or 316. Grade 304 stainless steel, with its 18% chromium and 8% nickel content, provides excellent general-purpose corrosion resistance, making it suitable for applications where the media is not highly corrosive, such as in water and air systems. Grade 316 stainless steel, containing molybdenum, offers enhanced resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, making it ideal for more aggressive media, like those in chemical processing or marine environments.

Ball: The ball of the three-way valve is precisely machined from stainless steel. In the V-style ball valve, the ball has a V- shaped opening. This V-notch is carefully crafted to ensure accurate flow control. For both types, the ball surface may undergo additional treatments, such as hard – facing with materials like stellite, to enhance wear resistance when handling abrasive media.

Seat: Typically made of materials like PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) or RPTFE (Reinforced PTFE). PTFE seats offer low friction, excellent chemical inertness, and reliable sealing properties. RPTFE seats, reinforced with fibers like glass or carbon, provide increased mechanical strength and durability, making them suitable for higher-pressure and more demanding applications.

Stem: Also made of stainless steel, the stem is designed to connect the ball to the electric actuator. It is precision-machined and often treated with anti-corrosion measures, such as plating or heat treatment, to ensure smooth operation and long – term reliability.

B. Pressure and Temperature Ratings

Pressure Rating: The three-way flange ball valve and the thread V-style ball valve can handle a range of pressures. Commonly, they are designed to operate within pressure classes such as PN16 (1.6MPa), PN25 (2.5MPa), and PN40 (4.0MPa). This allows them to be used in various industrial pipelines, from low-pressure water distribution systems to high – pressure chemical processing lines.

Temperature Range: The operating temperature range varies depending on the seat material. With PTFE seats, the valves can typically operate from -20°C to 150°C. For applications requiring higher temperatures, specialized seat materials can extend this range, enabling the valves to function in environments such as steam lines or high-temperature chemical reactions.

C. Connection and Actuation

Connection Type:

Three-Way Flange Ball Valve: Features flange connections that comply with international standards like ASME B16.5. The flange type can be raised face (RF) for general applications or ring-joint face (RJF) for high-pressure and high-temperature scenarios. Flange connections ensure a reliable and leak-tight joint, making it easy to integrate the valve into existing pipeline systems.

Thread V-Style Ball Valve: Utilizes threaded connections, which are convenient for applications where space is limited or quick installation and disassembly are required. The threads conform to standard specifications, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of pipes and fittings.

Electric Actuation: Both valves are equipped with electric actuators. These actuators are designed to provide precise control over the rotation of the ball. They can be operated remotely, allowing for automation of the flow-control process. The electric actuator typically comes with features such as position feedback, which provides real-time information about the valve’s position (fully open, fully closed, or at an intermediate position) to the control system. It can be powered by various voltage sources, including 220V AC, 110V AC, or 24V DC, depending on the specific application requirements.
