I. Technical Overview

Electric 3-way ball valve is a high-end automated device designed for medium diversion, confluence, and direction switching in industrial pipelines, covering DN15~DN600 (1/2″~24″) with T-type and L-type structures. The T-type enables arbitrary connection of three channels for splitting/mixing, while the L-type achieves 90° direction switching between two channels, suitable for water, gas, oil, and other media. Made of WCB cast steel or CF8M stainless steel, with PN16~PN25 pressure rating and low-to-medium temperature resistance, the electric actuator supports 220VAC, 24VDC, and other power inputs, widely used in petrochemical, HVAC, and water supply systems.

(A) T/L Dual-Mode 3-Way Structure

T-Type Diversion/Confluence: Three-channel design supports “1-inlet 2-outlet” or “2-inlet 1-outlet” for medium distribution/mixing, ideal for chemical reactor material switching and boiler feedwater systems;

L-Type Direction Switching: Vertical connection of two channels for medium redirection (e.g., hot standby pipeline switching), with ±0.5° switching accuracy;

Low Flow Resistance: Flow path complies with ASME B16.34, resistance coefficient ≤0.9, reducing pressure loss by 35% compared to globe valves, saving ~15,000 kWh annual pumping energy.

IV. Manufacturing Processes & QC

(A) Precision Manufacturing

Body Forming:

WCB cast steel via resin sand casting, CF8M stainless steel via lost wax precision casting, UT-tested for internal defects (sensitivity ≥Φ2.0mm);

Body blanks annealed to relieve stress, machined surface roughness Ra≤12.5μm.

Core Machining:

T/L-type cores processed by 5-axis CNC, cut angle error ≤±0.5°, fit gap with seat ≤0.03mm for sealing precision;

Stainless steel cores electropolished (Ra≤0.8μm), 2x corrosion resistance improvement.

Actuator Assembly:

Modular motor-gearbox design, gear meshing gap ≤0.05mm, no-load noise ≤55dB;

Actuator connected to body via ISO 5211 standard bracket, installation error ≤1°.

(B) Quality Control
