Product Overview
Newway GB Standard Carbon Steel V-Type Control Ball Valve: Core Equipment for Precision Industrial Fluid Control
I. Technical Overview
Newway VQ647H-16C GB standard carbon steel V-type control ball valve is designed for precise flow regulation and shut-off in industrial fluid systems, strictly complying with GB/T 12237 national standards. Ranging from DN40 to DN600 (1 1/2″ to 24″), it suits water, steam, oil, natural gas, and other media. The body uses WCB carbon steel with a V-shape ball core and hard seal structure, rated at PN16 (1.6MPa) and operating from -20℃ to 425℃. Widely applied in petrochemical, power, metallurgy, and heating industries, it supports electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic drives for remote control and precise flow regulation, ensuring efficient industrial operations.
II. Core Product Features
(A) Precision V-Shape Core Design
The unique V-shape ball core with precision-cut angles achieves an equal percentage flow characteristic and a 100:1 regulation ratio. Within 0-90° rotation, it enables linear flow control, ideal for complex scenarios requiring continuous adjustment. Compared to standard ball valves, it improves flow control accuracy by 40%, minimizing production inefficiencies from flow fluctuations.
(B) Hard Seal & High-Strength Structure

Metal-to-metal hard seal |
Zero leakage standard, suitable for high-temperature and high-viscosity media |
The metal hard seal ensures excellent sealing under high temperature, pressure, and wear, with leakage meeting GB/T 13927 Class A (zero leakage). The core and seat, overlaid with Stellite alloy, have 3x higher erosion resistance than common materials, extending service life.
(C) Multi-Drive Flexibility
Electric Drive: Optional 220VAC/380VAC with intelligent positioner, 4-20mA signal regulation, response time ≤15s (DN100);
Pneumatic Drive: Double-acting/single-acting cylinder, 0.4-0.7MPa air pressure, quick shut-off ≤5s for emergency scenarios;
Hydraulic Drive: High-pressure hydraulic system for large-diameter, high-pressure applications.

IV. Manufacturing Processes & QC
(A) Precision Manufacturing
Body Casting: Resin sand casting with electric furnace-smelted WCB carbon steel, strictly controlled for chemical composition. Castings undergo ultrasonic testing (UT) for defects, followed by annealing to relieve stress.
Core Machining: 5-axis CNC machining for V-shape cuts with ±0.3° angle error, surface roughness Ra≤0.8μm. Core and seat surfaces are overlaid with Stellite and ground to ensure ≤0.01mm fit.
Assembly & Testing: Actuators connected via ISO 5211 brackets with ≤0.1mm coaxiality. Each valve undergoes 1.5x pressure (2.4MPa) hydrostatic and 1.1x pressure (1.76MPa) seal tests for ≥15 minutes with zero leakage.
(B) Rigorous Quality Control
Material Traceability: Each raw material batch includes a quality certificate, with key components (body/core) batch-numbered for full traceability.
Performance Testing: Sampled for 100,000 cycle tests with ≥95% sealing retention, exceeding industry standards.
Certifications: ISO 9001, CE certified, with API 6D-compliant models available, supporting third-party inspection (SGS, BV).
